You’ll be sedated just enough to be unaware of the treatment. Because you are completely comfortable, Dr. Cauthen can do years of dental treatments in as little as one to two visits. Sedation dentistry is safe, and is commonly used to decrease the fatigue of extensive dental procedures, that require long visits.
Dr. Cauthen will give you two small pills to take, one the night before your appointment and another pill to take two hours prior to your dental appointment. The medicine we give will always allow you to be conscious, but you are unaware of your dental visit. Someone will need to accompany you to the office. Although awake, you will feel relaxed and drowsy. Once you arrive, Dr. Cauthen and his experienced team will take care of your dental needs.
